I will be posting my first devotional for 2019 soon. As I noted before, these will show up the evening before the date on the calendar. Perhaps some of the reason for that will be clear when you read the first Scripture I’ve chosen.

Since this is a different time, I’m making a few changes in the way I’m writing. Some parts may not work. Please feel free to let me know in comments what isn’t working so I can adjust. The basic plan is to look at part of the Scripture passage, understand and apply it, reflect on the day in light of the passage, and pray. I will have to grow into this style, so please help me with constructive criticism.

This year, I’ll be using the New King James Version. I’ve had friends suggest this version and I thought I’d try it. You’ll see the following permissions quote each day.
